Safety notes have a limit
The anchoring note describes a known tip-over hazard and a cautious way to think about walls. It does not remove the hazard. It is not a promise that a piece will not tip. What “general information” means on this site
General information is a description of problems that show up in many homes, written so you can compare it with the room you are standing in. It is not a measurement of that room. It is not a determination that a particular sofa will fit a particular door. It is not an instruction to drill a particular wall. When a note gives a figure people often sketch — a walk near 36 inches, a chair pull-back, a named door size you should ignore — it says the figure is a start. Your tape, your lease, and the manual in the carton outrank it.
The site does not sell furniture, parts, tools, or labor. It does not quote a price, hold a deposit, or schedule a visit. It does not certify anyone. It does not review products and it does not publish quotations from customers, because it does not have customers in that sense. Readers are readers.
