Purpose

accessonline publishes general information about furniture installation in homes in the United States: measuring, layout, the day a delivery arrives, reading an assembly sheet, anchoring tall pieces, moving through a building, and caring for common materials. The reader is a household, not a customer of an installation service.

Limits

We do not publish prices, packages, checkout flows, or booking forms. We do not rank products and we do not publish reviews. We do not claim that a method is risk-free, universal, or sufficient for every building. Where a sentence would need a superlative we cannot support, we cut the sentence.

Method

A note starts from a task a household actually does: measure a clear opening, compare it with a carton, read a hardware card, ask a building about an elevator. Steps are written so they can be done with a tape and the paper in the carton. If a step depends on a wall type, a lease, or a maker’s drawing, the note says so and tells the reader to stop when those are unknown.

Sources

Product-specific instructions come from the maker of that product. We point to them. We do not rewrite them as if they were ours. Public safety material, including furniture tip-over information from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is named and linked at cpsc.gov. Planning dimensions, such as a walkway near 36 inches, are described as figures people use when sketching, and as figures that appear in model housing codes in many places, with the reminder that adoption is local. We do not present those figures as a measurement of the reader’s home.

No invented staff

Notes are published by the organization accessonline. We do not invent authors, biographies, certifications, awards, or customer quotations. A first-person crew does not appear, because this publication does not send a crew.

Advertising

The site may be the destination of an online advertisement. The pages do not sell a transaction and should not be read as an offer of installation. As of the update date on this policy, the site does not load third-party advertising or analytics tags. Cookie settings exist so that if a tag is added later it can follow a visitor’s choice. The cookie policy is the detailed version. Sponsored product placements are not accepted into the notes.

Dates and corrections

Each note shows the date it was first published and the date it was last updated. A change in substance changes the update date. Typographical repairs do too, when we touch the page. Readers can send a correction to [email protected] with the page name and the sentence. We read those messages. We do not promise a particular reply time. If a correction is made, the update date moves.

Photographs

Photographs are stock images used as illustrations, sourced from Pexels. They are not pictures of our address and not records of a job we performed. Captions describe the frame. How long a note should be

Short pages are easy to skim and easy to misunderstand. A measuring note that ends after one slogan leaves the reader to invent the difference between a door’s name and its clear opening. We would rather publish a page you have to scroll. Each practical note is written as a sequence you can do with a tape, a pencil, and the paper in the carton. Background that does not change the next action is cut. A step that depends on a wall, a lease, or a drawing stays, and it tells you to stop when those are unknown.

The same standard applies to these policy pages. They are long because a one-paragraph privacy note hides what a static site does and does not store. If a page still feels thin, that is a correction, not a style. Write to [email protected] and name it.
